Established by the Tersigni family to reflect their commitment to ongoing social change and support for students dedicated to building a more just and equitable society. This award celebrates a graduating SXGN student whose leadership and activism have contributed to social transformation within or beyond the university. Apply by April 1 to coaawards@uoguelph.ca with a brief statement (up to 250 words) describing their contributions to positive social transformation through community engagement, involvement, leadership, and/or social justice work, on or off campus, during their undergraduate degree. Selection will be based on the most significant and meaningful contributions to positive social transformation within and/or beyond the University of Guelph. In the event there are no eligible applicants, selection will be based on the highest cumulative average from students graduating from the SXGN major in June or the previous winter or fall convocations.

Students graduating in June, or who graduated from the previous winter or fall convocations, from the Sexualities, Genders and Social Change major or minor, who have contributed to positive social transformation within and/or beyond the University of Guelph through community engagement, leadership, and/or social justice work on or off campus during their undergraduate degree. Preference will be given to students graduating from the SXGN major.
