Apply during the call for convocation awards to the office of the Associate Dean, Students and Academic, Ontario Veterinary College with a one-page statement describing volunteer/work experience related to shelter medicine and/or leadership role in the OVC Community Outreach and Shelter Medicine Club. Selection will be based on the highest weighted average in the VETM*4530 Health Management III – Shelter & Community Medicine module and the Phase 4 Small Animal Shelter Medicine rotation.
Students who have successfully completed Phase 4 of the DVM program in the VETM*4610 Small Animal Stream, and who have completed the Health Management III Shelter Medicine module and the Phase 4 Shelter Medicine rotation. Preference will be given to students with volunteer/work experience related to shelter medicine and/or who have held a leadership role in the OVC Community Outreach and Shelter Medicine Club.
