It honours Casper’s 14.3-year journey as a resilient fighter and the gold standard of compassionate care for complex chronic illness. Of the top twenty students in the Small Animal Internal Medicine Clinical Rotation with the highest weighted average, the Internal Medicine team will recommend to the OVC Awards Committee the student that demonstrates the most compassion and dedication to patient care during their rotation. In the event of equally qualified candidates, selection will be based on the highest standing in VETM*4470 Medicine and Surgery of Dog and Cat.
