Established by Gryphon Ruby alumni who have gone on the careers as first responders, the Boots on the Pitch Men’s Rugby Scholarship supports Men’s Rugby student-athletes who aspire to be first responders themselves. Coaches will nominate students to the Athletic Awards Committee. Selection will be based on extraordinary athletic and leadership qualities.
Entering student-athletes who are members of the Men's Gryphon Rugby team or current members of the Men's Gryphon Rugby team who have achieved a minimum 70% average or equivalent during the previous academic year as a student-athlete. Preference will be given to student-athletes who have expressed interest in a career as a first responder.
