Established by Earl B. MacNaughton, former head of the Department of Physics and founding Dean of the College of Physical Science. Selection will be based on high combined averages in the core physics courses at the 2000 level and above and cumulative average. This award cannot be held at the same time as another award from the Department of Physics. Application is not required.
Students registered in the B.Sc. program with a major in BMPH, BMPH:C, CHPY, CHPY:C, PHYS, PHYS:C, THPY who have completed a minimum of 11.50 credits with a minimum 80% cumulative average.
