Established in honour of J.L. (Iain) Campbell, former Provost and Vice-President (Academic), of the University of Guelph from 1995 to 2000 and former Dean of the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences from 1987 to 1995. Selection will be based on high combined averages in the core physics courses at the 2000 level and above and cumulative average. Application is not required. This award cannot be held at the same time as another award from the Department of Physics.
Students registered in the B.Sc. program with a major in BMPH, BMPH:C, CHPY, CHPY:C, PHYS, PHYS:C, THPY who have completed a minimum of 11.50 credits with a minimum 80% cumulative average.
