Doane Grant Thornton Foundation (formerly Caissa LLP, Embree & Co. LLP) provides this annual scholarship. Apply by May 15 to the Department of Management Awards Committee at dmawards@uoguelph.ca with a resume outlining leadership through employment, co-op, volunteer and/or extracurricular activities. Selection will be based on exceptional leadership as demonstrated by a resume, which may include, but is not limited to, employment within the accounting industry, co-operative education placements within the accounting industry, involvement in school clubs, sports teams or events and extra-curricular volunteer activities.

Students registered in the Accounting major of the B.Comm. program who have completed at least 10.0 credits with a minimum 75% cumulative average and demonstrated leadership through employment, co-op, volunteer and/or extracurricular activities. Preference will be given to students with employment, co-op, volunteer, or extra-curricular activities in Guelph and Wellington County.
