Established by the University of Guelph to support students whose food insecurity is directly undermining their ability to succeed in the current term. Apply by submitting the Food Security Bursary application form and have a completed Need Assessment Form (N.A.F.) with Student Financial Services. Selection will be based on financial need and will prioritize applicants whose food insecurity: is acute during the current term, is directly affecting their ability to study, attend classes, or maintain health during that term. A student may receive the bursary a maximum of two times, applied to two separate terms
Students registered in any program who are experiencing food insecurity specifically within the current semester, or who have encountered an unexpected financial disruption impacting their ability to access food during this semester and who demonstrate financial need by qualifying for financial support from the Ontario Support Assistance Program (OSAP).
