The Scottish Studies Foundation, a registered charity, along with private donors, established this scholarship in support of qualified students pursuing the study of Scottish history at the University of Guelph. It was matched with funds from the Ontario Student Opportunities Trust Fund. Apply by October 7 to Student Financial Services with a completed Financial Need Assessment Form (N.A.F.). Selection will be based on the highest grade in the previous offering of HIST*3140 Witch-hunts and Popular Culture. In the event of a tie, selection will be based on the highest cumulative average. Students registered in the Bachelor of Arts program (general or honours) majoring in History, or registered in any program minoring in History, who have completed a minimum 10.0 credits, and who have completed HIST*3140 Witch-hunts and Popular Culture. Additionally, students must meet the government-mandated terms for receipt of an OSOTF award (see General Statements on Awards).
