Established in honour of the retirement of Dr. G.T. Bloomfield, former faculty member and Chair of the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics from 1977 to 1982. Apply by October 7 to the Chair of the Geography department with a one-page essay outlining the benefits and expectations of the field course to their career as a geographer and one letter of reference from a geography professor. Selection will be based on academic achievement, description of benefit of the course to their career and referral from a geography professor.
Full-time students registered in one of the honours program (B.A.H; B.Sc.(ESS); B.Sc.(Env)) offered by the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics who have completed a minimum of 12.5 credits and have a cumulative average of at least 70% at the time of registration for GEOG*4690.
