The Jacquelyn Ogilvie “Radical Starlet” Award is presented to a student with a dedicated focus in Equine Medicine who exemplifies outstanding patient advocacy, exceptional clinical compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of both horse and client. This award recognizes a student who consistently goes above and beyond in the advancement of patient care—demonstrating integrity, empathy, professionalism, ethical standards and a profound respect for the human–animal bond. Apply by April 1 using the Associate Diploma Convocation Award Application form. Selection will be based on most significant involvement in veterinary health activities.
Students who are graduating from the Veterinary Assistant and Office Administration Certificate program who have demonstrated a commitment to veterinary health through work experience, extracurricular activities, and/or volunteerism.
