This award recognizes a student who intends to pursue a career in a mixed-animal practice or within a rural community following graduation. It is presented to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding proficiency in both large and small animal technical skills, while consistently showing compassion, dedication, and a strong commitment to patient care. The recipient embodies a willingness to mentor others, works effectively both independently and as part of a team, and embraces new challenges with professionalism and resilience. Apply by April 1 by completing the Ridgetown Campus Convocation Awards application form. Selection will be based on most significant involvement in veterinary health activities.
Students graduating from the Associate Diploma in Veterinary Technology or the Associate Diploma in Veterinary Technology (Alternate Delivery) programs who have demonstrated a commitment to veterinary health through work experience, extracurricular activities, and/or volunteerism.
