Established in 2025, the Shirley Moore Memorial Veterinary Medicine Scholarship honours Shirley’s lifelong support of veterinary medicine and her belief in partnership, care, and community. Shirley supported her husband Roy’s veterinary career while raising four children and remained active through library work, music, friendships, and rural life. Apply as part of the annual call for OVC Graduate Awards from the OVC Dean's Office in January of each year, including unofficial veterinary program transcripts. Selection will be based on the highest DVM degree/equivalent program average. In the event of equally qualified candidates, the candidate with the highest final year average will be selected.
Students with a DVM degree/equivalent entering any full-time graduate program offered by Ontario Veterinary College.
