The generous estate gift from John Allan Turner was given to the Ontario Veterinary College to support its greatest asset, its students. The award is named after John’s daughter, Barbara Turner Rutherford. Apply as part of the application process for all OVC graduate awards in the winter semester including the travel award form. Selection will be based on academic performance and research output across all graduate programs to date and relevance of the intended travel to the student’s current graduate research program.
Full-time students registered in any graduate program offered by the Ontario Veterinary College who are travelling for academic purposes. Preference will be given to a student presenting at an international conference or secondarily presenting at a conference in Canada.
