U of G Receives Funding for Advancing Bean Production Capacity

A green field where beans grow

The University of Guelph’s Ontario Agricultural College (OAC) received $2 million from Ontario Bean Growers (OBG) and an anonymous donor to support dry bean research. The funds will establish a new weed sciences professorship and renew another in agronomy and pest management, maintaining U of G’s leadership following two upcoming retirements.
