Summer Field Schools | Guelph Students
Field schools combine academics with hands-on experiential learning “in the field,” allowing students to incorporate what they are learning in class with their international location.
Most Field Schools will include a few lectures before the students depart, the learning will continue while abroad, and typically includes a final assignment once students return. The abroad component of University of Guelph field schools are offered in the Summer Semester, usually in May-June and are typically 1-4 weeks in duration. Students receive 0.5 – 1.0 credits for Field Schools, usually at the 3rd year level.
