Internationalizing the Curriculum
Internationalizing the curriculum is about embedding global and intercultural perspectives into teaching and learning across programs. This can include course content, learning activities, assessments, and opportunities for students to engage with international partners, whether in person or online. The Centre for International Programs can help with various ways to internationalize how and what you teach.
Incorporating an intercultural competency workshop into your on-campus class
The Centre for International Programs offers 1-3 hour workshops for students, faculty and staff at all levels to begin to understand the concepts behind, unconscious bias, stereotyping, perspective-taking and intercultural competency. We have staff specially trained in the Intercultural Development Inventory who can deliver workshops design to help students navigate and value difference in the classroom, groupwork and their future workplaces.
