Intersted in studying in Cuba for the Winter 2017 semester? Attend this session to learn more about this new program.
Students who are accepted to participate in the Cuba Semester Winter 2017 will be enrolled in a 0.5 credit Cuba Semester course in Fall 2016. This course is taught by the Cuba Semester Coordinator and will offer an interdisciplinary perspective on Cuba, and prepare students for the Cuba semester.
The tentative course subjects for the Winter 2017 semester include Spanish language, Cuban society (history, politics and culture), Agroecology in Cuba, Community Development and Global Food Systems. Spanish language skills are not a requirement to apply to the Cuba Semester.
