Text: Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarships

Please Note:  Applications must be submitted to Lynne Mitchell in the Centre for International Programs by Monday Nov. 17th. Following a review of all aplications, two will be selected to be submitted to AUCC as the University of Guelph submissions.

AUCC is pleased to announce the launch of the call for proposals for the Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarships program which will help develop the next generation of innovative leaders and community builders, both locally and globally.
 
The call for proposals is be open to members of AUCC to propose multi-year projects comprised of one or more of the three program components:

Canadian graduate students to receive scholarships to study or conduct research for periods of three months to one year in a Commonwealth country;
Canadian undergraduate or graduate students to undertake internships for periods of three months to one year in a Commonwealth country; and
Students from Commonwealth countries to receive scholarships at Canadian institutions at the masters or doctoral level.

The program will ensure that scholarships and internships are directed towards both developed and developing Commonwealth member states. Also, an alumni network of Queen Elizabeth Scholars will be activated to connect scholars within and across components to facilitate program, professional, and academic relationships.
