Dave Orellana

Dave was born in Caracas, Venezuela and briefly lived in the U.S and Colombia before moving to Canada.

Dave's passion for recruiting students comes from personal experience as an international student and working in international education for over eight years. He believes recruiting students is a way of adding great value to individuals' personal, academic and professional journeys.

What he loves the most about the U of G is the sense of community and the unparalleled services dedicated to empowering students, faculty and staff.

During his free time, Dave attends music festivals, cheers on the Toronto Raptors, and dances to Latin and Caribbean rhythms such as salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia, samba, drums, and calypso. He also loves performing outdoor activities and taking his dog to the park.
