The Gryphons on Bay Street Scholarship was established by 7 alumni who recognize the financial challenges that students face while juggling academic life with their athletic pursuits. The intention of this scholarship is to provide an opportunity for a student-athlete to realize their goals both during their time at the University of Guelph and beyond in their business career. Apply to Student Financial Services with a completed online Entrance Financial Need Assessment Form by April 15 for entering students or complete the online Financial Need Assessment form by October 7 for in-course students. Athletics Awards Committee will identify eligible students. Selection is based on demonstrated athletic excellence and strong leadership skills.
Current members of any Gryphon varsity team who have achieved a minimum 70% average or equivalent during the previous academic year as a student-athlete and registered in the Bachelor of Commerce program with demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to students registered in Management Economics and Finance or Real Estate majors.
