Research in Focus Photo Contest Highlights Research Excellence at U of G

The Office of Research, in collaboration with the Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance, recently hosted the 2023 Research in Focus photo contest, offering faculty, staff, students, and postdocs an opportunity to demonstrate how University of Guelph research has real-world impacts and improves life. We're delighted to announce the winners.

Top Three Winners: 

First place: Doing research in the highlands of Peru – Silvia Sarapura 

Second place: Structuring food of the future – Louis Colaruotolo 

Third place: Roadside Diner – Mark Duchene 

Community Choice Award: 

Don't Panic, it's Organic - Alice Dabrowski and Jason Lemay 

The Agri-Food in Focus prize was sponsored by the Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance. See the winner and the honourable mentions in this category.  

In total, we received 147 entries in the Research in Focus photo contest. We extend our thanks to all participants for sharing their remarkable photos with us.
