Our Graduates Ryan Eagleson
Now a Young Explorer with the National Geographic Society, the Marine and Freshwater Biological graduate Ryan Eageson is studying coral reef conservation.
"I found that the University of Guelph not only provided me with excellent professors and classes in the biology field, but gave me an environment that allowed my interests in marine biology and conservation to thrive. Every seemingly isolated opportunity I received such as volunteering in labs, meeting students from diverse backgrounds, and joining the various clubs on campus has got me to where I am today. I am happy to be continue pursuing my passion through work with the National Geographic Society, coral reef conservation in my masters degree, and working as a National Marine Conservation Area Assistant at Parks Canada during the summer. High school me couldn't have made a better choice of a program or university."
