Exploring the Six Cultural Dimensions and their Impact on Human Behaviour

Join the Guelph Engineering Leadership Program (GEL) for a talk from guest speaker Ben Yang on Intercultural Leadership. This lecture will help students develop cultural awareness and empathy, skills that are increasingly critical in cross‐disciplinary and international research teams, collaborative projects, and leadership roles in STEM fields. 2025 Darcy Lecture: Dr. Grant Ferguson, University of Saskatchewan

Grant Ferguson, professor of hydrogeology at the University of Saskatchewan and adjunct at the University of Arizona and University of Waterloo, studies deep and fossil groundwater systems and sustainable water use. He is vice president, North America, for the International Association of Hydrogeologists and an associate editor for Groundwater.

Math & Stats Mixer

This is a social event for primarily math and stats majors/minors in their first year to be able to build a sense of community early. Participants will be able to get familiar with the Math & Stats club, talk and mingle with other mathematical science students, while enjoying themselves over pizza and drinks provided by the club. It's a great opportunity to put yourself out there and get to know your people! There will also be fun activities to participate in and prizes to be won too. Location of the event is tentative at this time, we'll see you there!

Make Your Own Button - Drop in Event with the Society of Computing and Information Science

Unleash your creativity with the Society of Computer and Information Science!  Join us for a drop-in button-making event where you can design and press your very own custom button to take home. We’ll provide all the supplies – button machine, papers, markers, and stickers – you bring the imagination! Whether you’re a B. Comp student or just looking for a fun way to unwind, this event is open to everyone. Come by, hang out, get crafty, and leave with something totally you. No registration needed. All supplies provided. Just drop in and create!

Crafty Letters and Cozy Colouring with WiSE

This is a great opportunity for incoming students to meet and connect with women and gender minorities in STEM and make letters to your future self! Hosted by the club for Women in Science and Engineering! We will have light, allergy-friendly snacks and a ton of crafty supplies for you to set goals and manifestations and send over some words of encouragement for your future self! At the end of the school year, we will return the letters back to you so you can see how you’ve grown and what you’ve accomplished over the year!

College Government Movie Night with CEPSSC and CSA

Ever wanted to go to a drive-in theatre surrounded by your friends? Well, now's your chance! Join your Central Student Association, and your College Government executive for a movie night under the stars. Grab a blanket, a friend, and get ready for a relaxing night!  In case of severe weather, this event will cancelled and a rain date with be arranged. Learn more.
