U of G Chemist Receives CFI JELF Award to Support Innovative Research
On October 10, the Government of Canada announced nearly $134 million through the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) to support cutting-edge research infrastructure projects across the country. Dr. Rui Huang, from U of G’s Department of Chemistry, was recognized through the CFI’s John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF) with $79,738 in support for her innovative research.
This funding will help support Dr. Huang’s research of structure-guided development of oligonucleotides for biosensing and therapeutic applications.
