Professor Emerita, Lori Jones Wins Medal of Merit

Professor Emerita, Lori Jones has won the Medal of Merit. The Medal of Merit is awarded to a retired U of G professor that has made outstanding contributions in the fields of teaching, the function of the University, or through another avenue that has contributed substantially to academic life and character of the University. 

"Prof. Jones’ nomination was made in recognition of her outstanding and lasting contributions to teaching, academic leadership, and service. Her career exemplifies dedication, innovation, and equity. She has left a legacy that will continue to shape generations of learners" says Chair of the Department of Chemistry, Kathryn Preuss.
