Scott Sammons Wins Inaugural CCMPS 3MT Competition

Scott Sammons, PhD candidate in the O’Flaherty group, won first place at the College of Computational, Mathematical and Physical Sciences (CCMPS) 3-Minute Thesis (3MT®) on April 7th.

The event took place at Peter Clark Hall where 20 graduate students from across the college came to explain their research with 1 slide and 3 minutes on the clock.

Sammons will represent the department and the college at the University-wide 3MT® Final on April 30th. Congratulations to Scott!
