New Electronic Access developments across campus.

In response to COVID-19 and in alignment with provincial and Public Health guidelines, the University has prioritized physical distancing and is continuing only essential operations on campus. 

While the University of Guelph main campus remains open for business, campus buildings are currently not accessible to the Public. Faculty and Staff will continue to have access to buildings as needed; as stated on this campus URL.

The procedure for requesting access is as directed below:

   Faculty & Staff Access          Grad Student Access   
  •  Review the EACCESS building Contacts page to select the desired building.
   
  •  Review the EACCESS Contacts page to select the desired building.
  •  Building entries denote the assigned EACCESS Admin Manager.
  
  •  Building entries denote the assigned EACCESS Admin Manager.
  • Faculty & Staff must obtain authorization from department Dean, Chair or Manager before accessing campus buildings, DO NOT contact CAMPUS POLICE.
 
  • Grad Students must also obtain pre-authorization from the department Chair through their Faculty Supervisor, DO NOT contact CAMPUS POLICE.
  • Department Admin designates are responsible to provide and remove the temporary building access in a timely manner.
 
  • Department Admin Managers are responsible to provide and remove the temporary building access in a timely manner.
  • Once necessary work is completed / items are acquired, please leave campus immediately.

  • Department Admin designates are responsible to track the arrival, travel paths visited, and also time of exit of the Faculty & Staff.
