International Experiences

Goal

In order to expand international experiential offerings for students, we will be working to increase international co-op opportunities. Addtionally we will partner with AISEC Canada and other NGOs to offer international work opportunities while implementing Riipen to bring international projects to the classroom.

Background

These initiatives are at the foundation of the University's Experiential Learning Strategy implementation, which began in October 2017. 

Experience Profiles

  • Can is an international co-op student at the University of Guelph who has been involved in experiential learning on campus from his first year here. He has worked on-campus, and is engaged in student clubs like the Guelph Student Investment Council and My World, My Choice. Can has completed co-op terms at Maple Leaf Sports Entertainment and Fidelity Investments.
