Since the launch of the Curricular Inventory in March, the EL Team has received a wealth of information on experiential learning (EL) practices embedded in courses on our campus. To continue our efforts in understanding the experiential learning landscape at the University of Guelph, the Experiential Learning Team will be launching a co-curricular EL inventory.

The co-curricular inventory will be conducted using a two-pronged approach: a far-reaching inventory will be emailed out to various departments and offices on campus to report on current opportunities, which will allow us to gauge the existing number and types of EL opportunities. Additionally, six specific groups will be approached by the Experiential Learning Team separately: Work Study, Residence Life, Peer Helper Program, Project Serve, URA, and Athletics, to report their EL opportunities and map them to a pre-determined employability outcomes list.

Need help filling out the inventory? Register for a Lunch & Learn session to learn more about the experiential learning terminology and categories.

If you have any questions about this project please contact the Experiential Learning Team: experience@uoguelph.ca.
