Three Minute Thesis (3MT) – Workshop #2: Preparing your Pitch

To help students prepare a 3-minute research “pitch,” we are hosting the second interactive workshops facilitated by Dr. Jodie Salter (University of Guelph Library, Writing Specialist), Jason Dodd (University of Guelph Library, Science Learning Specialist) and Jessie Kennedy (Manager, John F. Wood Centre for Business and Student Enterprise). This workshop will be held in-person (MINS 129) and online via TEAMS. More informaiton will be sent after you register. CEPS 3MT® College Heat

3MT® is a university-wide competition for graduate students to present their research and its wider impact in 3 minutes or less to a panel of non-specialist judges. The challenge is to present complex research in an engaging, accessible and compelling way, using only one slide. Each college holds a heat to decide which two finalists will advance to the University of Guelph 3MT® Final Competition on April 24th. CEPS College Heat prizes are up to $500 and University Final Competition prizes are up to $1,000.
