Many students will be away from campus during the summer months and many faculty likewise will enjoy some time away.  And the advice is always: be vigilant about wearing sun screen.  No disagreement, but I want to talk about also keeping up your security vigilance during the summer.  We want you to stay safe even while you are away.

March is the start of tax season (yeah!). At this time of year there is always an increase in the number of tax-related scams going around via email and phone. Here is just one example of a scam where the perpetrators claimed to be from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) in order to steal money from their victims.
