Department Software

The Department of Chemistry maintains licenses/memberships for the software listed below. To download the software, login to the Department of Chemistry SharePoint.

• Gaussian16
• GaussView 6

  • Gaussian and Gaussian View are now available for members of Department of Chemistry from Chem Stores.  It is on a USB stick, and has both MAC and Windows versions.

  • How to get it:

  1. Go to Chem Stores during their open hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (closed 12-1 pm for lunch)
  2. Ask for the Gaussian / Gaussian View USB (single key has both programs)
  3. Find the software on the USB to install it onto your computer
  4. Return the USB to Chem Stores within 2 hours

  • There is only one USB stick available so it is important to return the USB as soon as possible so that others may use it.
