Request Video Surveillance
Requests for video surveillance (i.e. cameras) can be submitted via the online form below. Requests are initially received and evaluated by Campus Community Police. Please be prepared to stipulate:
- the purpose of the VSS request (e.g. personal safety, protection of property, behaviour deterrence)
- the approving Dean/Director/Chair
- specific location for each camera/device request
Once the form has been received, Campus Safety Office (CSO) may reach out to the contact person to schedule a site visit or to answer additional questions. Typically requests are reviewed within fourteen (14) business days.
If the inital request is approved by CSO, an evaluation will be forwarded to Physical Resources for installation. Departmental coding will need to be submitted prior to installation. If the initial request is not approved the contact person will be notified by CSO. Appeals may be submitted to the AVP Physical Resources.
