Kate Redmond

Kate is one of our project assistants. Kate is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of various sustainability projects housed within the UofG Sustainability Office.

Working alongside our team, Kate helps collect comprehensive data and analysis to support our sustainability reporting and progress tracking.

This semester, Kate is responsible for leading our new student working group and helping run our Sustainable Residence Committee, which works to improve sustainability in our campus residences. 

Kate is in her fourth year of Environmental Governance and is a varsity Nordic ski team member. She is incredibly passionate about environmental sustainability. 

Kate spent her past summer in Killbear Provincial Park as a Parks Program Educator, where she prepared and delivered interpretive programming for park visitors. 

Outside the office, Kate loves to spend time outdoors walking, hiking, skiing and camping. Kate loves animals and thrifting!
