STARS Rating
STARS is a transparent, self-reporting framework developed by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) for colleges and universities to measure their performance across 17 impact areas, including air and climate, buildings, campus community engagement, groundskeeping, energy consumption, food and environment, and curriculum.
To date, 1,063 institutions have registered to use the STARS Reporting Tool, of which 678 have earned a STARS rating.
Based on our 2020 submission, the University of Guelph was rated a gold ranking.
