In this one-and-a-half-hour session, we will explore strategies instructors can use to prevent and address these harms in the classroom.   This event is open to internal U of G only. Please register using your University of Guelph email. By participating in these workshops, you can help us improve equality and inclusion on our campus. These virtual workshop discussions are facilitated by Commerce students from the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics and are open to all U of G students, staff, and faculty. Space is limited and registration is required.

Challenges & Opportunities Towards a Zero Waste Plastics Economy  Manju Misra, Professor and Canada Research Chair in Sustainable Biocomposites  School of Engineering & Department of Plant Agriculture, University of Guelph  The widespread use and reliance on plastic has created waste that is a paramount environmental issue for the world. Biodegradable and compostable plastic is a promising alternative to the single-use plastic. This presentation will highlight the commitments and progress of Canada and India to a vision of zero plastic waste.
