The College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (CEPS) invites its students, faculty and research staff to submit photos of their experiences as a member of CEPS.
It is with the greatest pleasure that I inform you that, after a competitive search process, Professor Minglun Gong has agreed to serve as Director, School of Computer Science (SoCS) in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (CEPS), commencing May 1st, 2019.
Dr. Yang Xiang has agreed to become the Interim Director of the School of Computer Science (SoCS) starting September 1st, 2018 for a period of four months.
The College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (CEPS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Bill Van Heyst as the Associate Dean (External Relations). His five-year term begins on September 1, 2018.
In this role, Professor Van Heyst will be responsible for issues relating to alumni and development activities, external research partnerships, community outreach and other stakeholder communities.
At the Senate meeting on May 23, 2017, President Vaccarino announced that as per the Senate-approved policy “Naming of Academic Entities and Awards”, the name of the College of Physical and Engineering Science will be changed to the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, effective immediately.
