An incubator or accelerator is a program that allows you to leverage resources, space, mentorship and funding to engage in the early-stage development of start-ups and/or to advance external ideas that address real-world needs.

Experience Details

Incubator/Accelerator programs are unpaid experiences; however, grants are often available to support business development.
Incubator/Accelerator programs are not for-credit.
Incubator/Accelerator programming is held on-campus but can support businesses in a variety of locations.

Currently Recognized Opportunities

The Hub Incubator Program offered through the Centre for Business and Student Enterprise (CBaSE) offers you funding, dedicated office space and access to experienced entrepreneurs to help you develop a strong business model for your start-up.

Alyssa Voigt

Alyssa graduated from University of Guelph having engaged in course-integrated experiential learning in the curriculum. Outside the classroom, she worked for Student Housing Services, the work study program and held an undergraduate research assistant position.
