The University of Guelph will install Martha Billes as its next chancellor June 8 during a ceremony in War Memorial Hall.
The event will be held at 4:30 p.m.; doors open at 4 p.m. The ceremony is free and open to the U of G community and general public.
Billes, a Canadian business icon, philanthropist and U of G alumna, will be the University’s ninth chancellor, and the first U of G graduate to hold the position.
