Join us Oct. 24 for the 2018 Gairdner Lecture, “From Genomic Imprinting to the Human Germline”  presented by Dr. Azim Surani.

Surani is the recipient of the 2018 Canada Gairdner International award for the discovery of mammalian genomic imprinting that causes parent-of-origin specific gene expression and its consequences for development and disease.

He is the Director of Germline and Epigenetics Research, Wellcome Trust Cancer Research UK Gurdon Institute, Marshall-Walton Professor, Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience, University of Cambridge.
