Kristen Van Gelder, Ph.D. candidate in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, will defend their thesis on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 1:30 p.m.  Their advisor is Dr. Tariq Akhtar.  Thesis Title: "Understanding the biosynthesis and function of polyisoprenoids in Solanum lycopersicum". All interested members of the university community are welcome to attend the online defence.

Zachary Thow, M.Sc. candidate in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, will defend his thesis on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 9:30 a.m.  His advisor is Dr. Rod Merrill. Thesis Title: "Preliminary characterization of Vorin and VorinI: a putative toxin-antitoxin pair produced by Erwinia amylovora ". All interested members of the university community are welcome to attend the online defence.

Joshua Manduca, M.Sc. candidate in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, will defend his thesis on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. His advisor is Dr. Melissa Perreault. Thesis Title: "Transient dose-dependent effects of ketamine in neuronal oscillatory activity in Wistar Kyoto rats". All interested members of the university community are welcome to attend the online defence.
