Mark Minow, Ph.D. candidate in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, will defend his thesis on Thursday, Novemer 12, 2020 at 1:30 p.m.  His advisor is Dr. Joe Colasanti.   The external examiner is Dr. Yuhai Cui (AAFC). Thesis Title:  "Molecular genetic investigation into the processes underlying transitions in plant gene expression" All interested members of the university community are welcome to attend the online defence. 

On November 11, U of G will host an online Remembrance Day ceremony to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice. To encourage physical distancing, a video ceremony will be available starting at 11 a.m. More details and link to the online ceremony coming soon

Each fall OGPS hosts an event to connect prospective graduate students with faculty, staff and/or current grad students in each of our graduate programs.  Traditionally it is held in a large event space like the UC or the Athletics gym.  During the pandemic we have adjusted the event to still allow for those individual connections but this time it will be virtual!
