Province Invests $5.4M in U of G Research to Build a Resilient Agri-Food Sector

The Government of Ontario is investing $5.4 million through the Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance to support 28 University of Guelph research projects that will strengthen the province’s agri-food sector through innovation, rural development, environmental protection and hands-on training for future agri-food leaders.

The Office of Research oversees a $186 million research enterprise across seven colleges, our regional campus at Ridgetown, 15 research centres, and the University of Guelph/Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Agreement. We are committed to supporting the research programs of University of Guelph faculty across all disciplines.
