GWPI is a joint physics graduate program between the Department of Physics at the University of Guelph and the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Waterloo. With more than 90 faculty and 200 graduate students, GWPI is among the largest and most unique graduate programs in physics and astronomy in the world. GWPI’s tradition of collaboration and innovation enables GWPI to offer graduate students a rich and varied experience with opportunities to do experimental or theoretical research in eight major sub-areas of physics.
