Cultivating Business, Innovation, & Leadership in Agri-food Research: An event to recognize HQP Scholars

The Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance has partnered with Food from Thought, funded by the Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF) program, to support the Highly Qualified Personnel (HQP) Scholarship Program. The partnership will host a recognition event on Wed. Dec. 7, 2022, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the University of Guelph Arboretum Centre.

The purpose of the event is to celebrate this partnership with Food from Thought, to highlight the achievements of the 2021/22 HQP Scholars, and to announce the 2022/23 HQP Scholars.

The event will provide an opportunity for the 2021/22 HQP Scholars to present their industry-partner work completed through the Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Agri-Food Systems course delivered in partnership with the Arrell Food Institute at the University of Guelph, and to network with OMAFRA and key industry partners who recognize the HQP Scholarship Program’s role in supporting the development of tomorrow’s agri-food leaders.
