Arrive at 4:30 p.m. for a pizza meal and mingling.
Meet new and familiar faculty, researchers, OMAFRA extension staff, and growers.
See pasture research tracking: Grazing fall cover crop mixtures; using rising plate meters to measure forage yield; N fertility on pastures; tracking of greenhouse gas emissions; and more.
Have extra time? Come early and join Soils @ Guelph at 2 p.m. for light refreshments followed by a cover crop plot tour at 2:30 p.m.
This event is an OSCIA-recognized Knowledge Sharing Event (KSE) for farmers with On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) projects in the Rotational Grazing, Nitrogen Management or Cover Cropping category.
