KTT Mobilization Initiatives

KTT Mobilization Initiatives provide one time financial support of up to $5,000 for a product that translates and transfers research that benefits Ontario’s agri-food sector or rural communities. Proposed initiatives must be completed within a year of the start date.

KTT Mobilization Initiatives must fall within an established Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) research priority theme. In 2019, OMAFRA undertook a new approach to research priority setting. There are now 11 research priorities that are aligned with the Ministry's three core businesses: Protection and Assurance, Stewardship, and Economic Development. Applicants can find descriptions of the research priorities in the 2021-22 Alliance Research Priorities document.
