Research Summary: This project will evaluate the addition of various feed additives on their ability to improve the growth, gut health and immune response of fish. This research will support Ontario feed companies and aquaculture producers by demonstrating the advantages of these products to improve fish production, health and welfare. These ingredients also add to the sustainability of the feed and animal production industry since insects and yeast can convert organic waste into feed.
