FOB

How long is my FOB good for?

All iClass FOB devices remain the property of the University of Guelph and are subject to review for use and may be deactivated by the University. iClass FOB devices expire annually, but may expire sooner depending on length of contract, and are required to be renewed by the authorizing contact person at the University of Guelph through the Physical Resources Electronic Access Group.

How much does a FOB cost?

At this time, there is no charge for new or replacement iFOBs. Image of iFOB

What do I do if my FOB becomes damaged, is lost, or stolen?

Please contact the Electronic Access Team (eaccess@uoguelph.ca), your Project Coordinator, or Building Access Contact to report a missing/stolen/damaged FOB and request a replacement. Any lost or stolen FOBs will be deactived and cannot be reactivated if they are found. Damaged FOBs must be returned to the Electronic Access Team.
